His credits include “Role Models”, “Bruno“, “Cedar Rapids”, “A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas” and “The Dictator”. “Missed Connections” is his feature directorial debut. Producer-Lisa Rudin is originally from Minnesota and has lived in Los Angeles for seven years. She began working in news and political media but quickly added a healthy dose of comedy when she started working for Bill Maher at REAL TIME. She was a producer on RELIGULOUS where she met director Larry Charles and began working on movies and shows with him (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM, BRUNO, THE DICTATOR and more). She has a passion for passion and this project quickly became a priority from day one.
Writer-Kenny Stevenson has been writing and performing in sketch comedy for the last ten years. He was a writer and performer in the Groundlings Sunday Company, as well as for the sketch groups “Fries on the Side” and “Local Heroes”. His work has taken him to Chicago, San Francisco, Austin, and Toronto’s Sketch Festivals. “Missed Connections” is Kenny’s first screenplay to be produced and recently earned him the “Indie Spirit Story Line Award” at The Boston International Film Festival. He is thankful to his wife for all of the help that she gave him throughout the writing process. Kenny is currently finishing development of a ‘heist’ script with the team from Missed Connections .
